Wallenpaupack Creek Trail in Hawley provides scenic trail access water views and outdoor recreation supporting nature exploration and physical recreation. From this access point hike North if we want a view of Tafton Dike, that created Lake Wallenpaupack, and to get a view of the giant aqueduct that leads to the hydroelectric power plant. Hike to the South for a scenic stroll along Lake Wallenpaupack that takes you past several recreation areas and the Lake Wallenpaupack Dike along Route 6. Length: Approximately 2-3 miles depending on segment. Difficulty: Easy to Moderate – suitable for most fitness levels.
